This landscape was painted inspired by a trip to the mountains. Far away in the Caucasus mountains there is the majestic Tana glacier, which can be reached through mountain trails. The path to it is long, but the spectacle is worth many hours of hiking. The painting captures one of the moments of the hike, when, around the bend, the glacier began to appear in all its glory.
