This is an abstract painting inspired by the local landscape in and around Taunton, Somerset. The painting seeks to explore memories of being in the local landscape, seeking an expressive element to the painting and marks made on the surface.

The painting explores colours remembered from the local landscape at dusk, during a bicycle ride along the River Tone, with the more sombre range of colours seen.
