Original artwork description:

landscape
mixed media on canvas 80x100 cm -2019

In her works, landscape and nature bring the vision of reality to the limit of abstraction through a process aimed at removing what is superfluous, in search of the sense that tears and scraps let emerge from the surrounding environment and from the common experience.
The trace and the sign are the privileged protagonists of the artist's research.
In the series "Landscapes" and "Signs", poetic and rarefied images, the synthetic trait and minimalist praxis give rise to entropic landscapes, imprints of a universe made of abandonments and fragility, collapses and demolitions but also rebirths.
These works seek to investigate the deeper meaning of the relationship between man and nature over time through the scarification of signs and contents.
The gaze on nature as a metaphor of travel and the existential urgency of regeneration.

Materials used:

oil pastel paint
