Until I visited Kamchatka, I had no idea that there could be landscapes on Earth similar to Martian ones. Or any other landscapes from fantasy worlds._x000D_ Perhaps this picture of the landscape is caused by a large number of volcanoes and geysers._x000D_ But even without volcanoes, the nature of Kamchatka is fascinating. I had no idea that the ground could be covered with a dense carpet of various tall grasses and berry bushes._x000D_ The lush bloom of some flowers also struck me. For example, irises. After all, it was in September. Where I live, in the Urals, at this time, the flowers are already "falling asleep" for the winter._x000D_ Probably, the natural rhythms in Kamchatka are slightly shifted._x000D_ I decided to paint several pictures in different techniques on the theme of Kamchatka's landscapes. I hope it will be interesting not only for me._x000D_ And here is the first landscape. It is executed on canvas with oil pastels._x000D_ --------------------------------------------------------------------_x000D_ This landscape is painted with oil pastels on canvas._x000D_ I did this artwork with oil pastels. The base is not traditional for pastels - this is a canvas. I fixed the pastels on canvas in a particular way, first "baked" with hot air, then varnished.
