Original artwork description:

PROCESS
Monotype is a printmaking made in single print, the method is to paint on a glass plate and pressing a sheet of paper onto the plate. Personally, I use the water-oil painting Cobra that allows me to clean the plate without white spirit.
I discovered this method of printmaking by studying the paintings of Degas who has made some beautiful prints. I appreciate the simplicity and finesse of this process the only drawback is that you can do only one draw .... but after all, this is also the charm of the Monotype, each print is unique.

SIZE
Print : 16 x 10 cm (6.3 x 3.9 in)
Mounting Board : 24 x 18 cm (9.4 x 7.1 in)
Frame : 27 x 21 cm (10.6 x 8.3 in)

FRAME
This is a black wooden frame (serie Apollo from Nielsen).
The print is protect by a glass.

Materials used:

Water-Oil Painting Cobra
