Original artwork description:
An homage to Victorian Symbolist painting including a typically overblown title! This is another painting influenced by Arnold Bocklin and Ferdinand Keller and has elements of their Isle Of The Dead series of paintings. My favourite model Naomi posed for all the figures and I have deliberately kept them looking similar in the way that JW Waterhouse did, another of my heroes from that period. Far in the distance is the ship that the Sirens are hoping to lure to their destruction.
