Daffodils are the national flower of Wales, which is indeed the Land of my Fathers and my mother. Daffodils were one of her favourite flowers and are to this day a constant source of joy when they are first spotted beginning to show, as they signify Springs arrival.

They are also used as the symbol for the Cancer Society charity in certain countries of the world. This piece when it sells will have the money donated to The Cancer Society of New Zealand where I now live.
Cancer affects all of us, in one way or another during our lifetimes. So, if you buy this piece not only are you obtaining a beautiful painting, but, you are helping the Cancer Society to help others.
