A view of Lancaster Gate station on the Central line of London's Tube network.
The white tiles and paving stones of this station could be easily dismissed as plain and uninteresting. But in this work, Rebecca has used light and colour to inject rich, interesting texture into these otherwise pedestrian surfaces.
Rebecca has created an extensive collection of Undergound-themed works: always revealing the beauty and style of these often-overlooked subterranean spaces by careful selection of perspectives - and by removing almost all of the people.
In some of these works Rebecca will re-utilise advertising posters for other purposes. In this piece, she has created a kind of mini wildlife gallery, featuring a colourful butterfly, caterpillar and a quartet of silhouetted rats.
