Original artwork description:

Mixed media painting with a first layer consisting of painting made with gouache and stone powder. The symbol is an ancient Maya seal which is made of structure paste and gold leaf. The first layer of paint is liquid gouache with serpentine powder poured into it to give it an organic texture. Different pigments were sprinkled onto the fluid paint including bister and soft clay. The last layer consists of glazed oil paint.

The sides of the painting are the same colours as the front. The painting is varnished, ready to hang and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
