Original artwork description:

I painted this after a recent chilly lakeside walk near my home! A quick sketch and photograph were all I could manage in the cold, but I wanted to paint the cool beauty of the scene with the dried seed heads by the waterside, so decided to paint it almost as a monochrome in shades of blues with just a delicate hint of pale yellow in the sun and sky. Painted using acrylic paints on board. The painting is sold mounted and framed in a washed blue coloured wood frame 22"x16"
