One of the loveliest places in the country, the Lake District has been and still is a favourite place to visit. In between walking the Wainwrights, I sometimes took a lower route to rest my legs. This valley is an imagined view, with fells in the background beneath a summer sky and a farm house tucked away beneath trees. The meadow in the foreground is grasses and wildflowers. Jewel colours.

Acrylic on cotton canvas, varnished for protection, sides painted white, strung on the back and ready to hang.

I've signed the back and it will come with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front too.
