I was invited to do a painting for a virtual plein air competition and I chose this beautiful photograph of dramatic sunset. Photographs were submitted by the people of the town. This was my first competition of this type created as a result of the Corona Virus Pandemic. I love sky paintings, especially sunsets and sunrises. They are a definite challenge to make them look real. This painting is framed with a dark frame with warm undertones and a gold fillet. It is completely ready to hang on your wall.
