Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Features a magnolia tree in full spring bloom with pink blossoms. The texture of the blossoms is enhanced by thickly applied paint. At the upper left, the tree is framed by white magnolia blossoms and yet unopened redbud blossoms from the trees behind it. The pink tree is also contrasted by the still bare, red-brown branches of a tree to the right. The lake is glimpsed in the pale blue center background, and is topped by a matching blue sky and trees along the shoreline. Painted in oil on canvas. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a mahogany colored finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
