Original artwork about Ukrainian mountains.
Lake Ivor (Lake of Youth) 1600 meters above sea level. What does it take to climb other than desire? This question is not only about this situation.
Legend:
There is a legend that passes from generation to generation and tells about the origin of the name of the lake. In those places lived a hutsulka of incredible beauty, with whom two brothers fell in love. Despite brotherly love, they loved the girl no less and no one wanted to give in. Then the hutsulka ordered the brothers to find for her a magical mountain flower - Edelweiss, which grows on the steep slopes of Mount Bliznytsia. Whoever brings a flower will marry him. During the search, the younger brother tripped and hung over a precipice. The elder, forgetting about the hat and the flower, rushed to save him, but the rock broke under the weight of the two brothers and dragged them down. The girl, coming here, saw her dead brothers and wept bitterly. But so much and for so long that a lake was formed from her tears. And she, not overcoming grief, died. This is how the names Dragobrat and Ivor were formed. The gendarmes who came to investigate the tragedy were petrified by what they saw. Since then, they protect everyone who comes to Blyznytsia.
