Imagine spending a day at this lovely place. You can go hiking on the beautiful trails, then have a picnic, relax and enjoy the tranquility of this secluded Alpine lake.

This painting was inspired by the trip to the Woods Lake in the Eldorado National Forest, South of HWY 88 in California. Nestled high in the mountains at 8200 feet elevation, Woods Lake, with its dazzling reflective images of the majestic mountains and towering stands of ponderosa pines, offers scenery so dramatic, it will be etched in your memory for a lifetime.

Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen on 1/8 MDF archival art panel, the back of the panel finished with melamine that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. Unframed. Requires a frame to hang.
