Lake Dežno is a picturesque lake in the western part of the wine-growing Haloze with a depth of about 3 meters.
The reservoir was built in the 70s of the last century for the needs of tourism, recreation, irrigation of agricultural land and reducing the peak of the flood wave.
The water in the lake is incredibly calm, as if time has slowed down here. The ripples on the surface ripple only slightly, creating delicate waves that play with the sun's rays. This place is like an oasis of peace, where you can forget about the hustle and bustle and enjoy the harmony of nature.
