Original artwork description:

This is an abstract-impressionist evocation of a lake in the English Cotswolds at dusk in winter. The scene is exceptionally still, with barely a ripple on the unmoving waters. I painted this a week after photographing the scene and tried to capture the feeling of peace and calm that it had left me with.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness. The painting is on professional quality fine grain canvas by the Belle Arti and is on a one inch wooden stretcher. It is signed on the reverse.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked and insured courier. The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
