Original artwork description:

Autumn had just exhaled and reached its colourful climax when I painted this picture. Fringes of fiery orange spread on the opposite side of the lake whilst the sun was still warm enough to negate a jumper in the evening.

Annecy is a beautiful place, about an hour and a half on the train and it stands before me, almost arrogant in the knowledge of its own magnificence. There is also a chocolate shop that will have you dropping to your knees in praise of the chocolatier.

Split by a line of leaf gold paint to emphasise the coming season.

Acrylic on board framed in a hand made pine floater frame.
