I intended to do a painting primarily using cerulean blue, cobalt blue, and ultramarine blue. When I was finished I attempted to entitle the piece with something "Blue." The only thing that came to mind was "Blue Lagoon," which sounded trite, so I settled on "Lagoon" (although I didn't set out to paint a lagoon). The paint was applied with a painting knife, brush, fingers and the end of a brush. The color wraps around the edges of the canvas and it come wired, ready to hang.
Acrylic paint on canvas. Canvas stretched on a wooden frame. Painting is ready to hang.
