This artwork painted from my own photos was inspired by the ladybirds in our garden. I particularly liked the contrast of the red against the forget-me-not blue. Painted in two stages, the background was created initially with a loose watercolour wash. Once the wash dried, the ladybird and the forget-me-not blooms were painted on with careful consideration given to the overall composition. _x000D_ Painted with artist quality paints on St Cuthberts Mill watercolour paper. _x000D_ _x000D_ Included with this artwork is an off-white mount/matt of external dimension 8"x10" ready to fit in a standard frame of the same aperture._x000D_ Artwork is signed on front
