Artwork description:

This is another of my historically inspired portraits in my series of ornately dressed women. To me there's something wonderfully creepy about walking through an old creaking corridor in a historical building and seeing brooding eyes following your every move from portraits painted centuries ago.
I also wanted to put my own modern graphic twist to these rather dark ornate portraits that you can see in museums.
Monoprint and linoprint on card.
My prints come in very limited editions and sometimes each print can vary to a small degree as I do tend to experiment with every new print I produce. And although I do try my very best to keep my prints free from smudges you may find that borders around the print might have a few finger marks left by my eager fingers!
