" Lady with neck bracelets " is a small painting on thick watercolor paper featuring the beautiful face of a woman in a bluish-white turban, with several gilded bronze ring neck bracelets around her neck.

Painted in acrylic and fine water-soluble oil, the long neck of this woman with very light blue eyes is an affectionate nod to the giraffe-women of Burma.

She's part of the Alchemists series of paintings, mysterious characters with a wise strength, because, with their necks protected, tigers can't sink their fangs into them...

The painting is set off by a pretty little frame in antique wood, gilded and molded with very Russian motifs.

The painting is lined on the back with a velvet fabric with vermilion squares, and has a ring for hanging on the wall.
