Original artwork description:

August Macke was one of the founders of the influential expressionist group Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider). Although Macke was a leading expressionist, he was essentially a colorist. The colors bounce all over the painting, but the people are mere shapes. Macke is close to pure abstraction, but never fully engaged with it.
Perhaps that is what most attractive to my figure.

Materials used:

Acrylic on masonite
