In this piece I was striving to create an ethereal, airy portrait of a woman with soft textures and dreamy colors. I love the end result which has a quiet beauty.
I layered acrylic paints using a brayer and palette knife then added the portrait on top using a delicate line and soft brush strokes. She invites the onlooker into quiet introspection.
Colors: Soft sage green, periwinkle, blues, blue-gray, beige, pale yellow, golden yellow, pale pink, white, black
