The ladies of Mawseley love their choir practise!! Every Sunday afternoon without fail. And they have ta and biscuits afterwards. At Christmas they even have a small port!
This is a mixed media collage made on a ready to hang canvas.
The collage has been built up of several layers of tissue paper and torn paper to create a really textured look. The first layer is tissue paper which gives a nice texture in the bottom. I then used torn paper from magazines to create the ladies. Each lady is made up of lots of little tiny bits of paper in different colours to make their outfits and boots, hair etc. I then used white gouache paint on top of the collage to give a real richness to the collage.
The collage is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
