Jean-Luc Lacroix, who began his career as an artist in the field of science fiction, has created several works in aero, his first technique of predilection, in memory of well-known artists in fantasy.
"La Voix des Morts" was created as a tribute to the American writer Orson Scott Card, as a reward for his eponymous book (original title: Speaker for the Dead), as part of the Cosmos 2000 Prize, created by Annick Béguin at the Paul Ricard Salon in Paris.
In this drawing, the artist has transmitted the gentle aspiration towards another dimension that is the universe within us and around us, here and there, this invisible thread that unites the living and the dead. Three-dimensional poetic universe between the human, the planets and the infinite.
Aero with ink and scratch on paper. Size 30x42cm without frame.
Original painting signed JL Lacroix, bottom left. Certificate of authenticity.
ink, airbrush, grattage, paper, spray-paint
