40 x 80 cm - film poster and cards from a Tarot of Marseille on canvas - 2021

I started this painting a long time ago. Months in fact. The drawing was ready, the cards were cut out and glued. But I couldn't get started, too stressed at the idea of failing, of missing the work, of not succeeding in putting the emotion, the look that I wanted into it.

This look, so important for this Visionary. Initially, she was supposed to be called the Artist instead. With her third eye, she had to show the people she looked at the world differently. Through this symbolism, which evokes self-knowledge, she sees what others do not see, she perceives things differently and can even predict what has not yet happened. This is why she wears on her skin, like tattoos, cards from a Tarot de Marseille, a divinatory tarot whose different arcana make it possible to predict the future.

The canvas is varnished and equipped with a hanging system.
