Life consists of adventures, great feelings and philosophy. Block also manages to give her works a soul in the abstraction. She loves to think about creatively shifting and recombining them. She loves direct experimentation on screen. Block preserves the feeling for painting until the end, in which the artist allows parts of her finished work to disappear again. As if she were trying to open up her own work with the paint. An extreme painterly act that shows the truth of natural painting to the point of fascination. This results in a liveliness on the canvas paired with an elaborate painting technique. In the picture "La vie", Block makes the color red shine. The ebb and flow represents the cycle of life, inspired by the heartbeat, the inhale and exhale, life itself.
