This has been my last painting, and I am very happy with the result, as I let the lines flow and loosen, creating almost an abstraction. The protagonist is no one in particular, but her gaze, pensive and distant, reminds me of those moments when one is lost in thought. The title, also suggestive, refers to the fact that the figure appears almost blurred, as if seen through a glass, through a window. It is not easy to make a portrait that instead of realism, shows expression and suggestion, it is necessary to remove elements and compose the background, which is left free for those who look at the painting, who can find within this palette in pastels, soft and at the same time nostalgic. It is a unique and very special work for me, perhaps even a self-portrait, but of the soul.
