Original artwork description:

Oversize, semi-surreal and quieted landscape rendered in oils, on the theme of simplicity.  The title is in French as this work follows my time living in the Landes de Gascogne where I spent hours walking my dog.  The trails are all white or pale sand and there are beautiful clearings where one might see deer passing.  I was blessed to be living there during lockdown and was greatly enriched by the simplicity of rural life at that time, working from my enormous (and drafty) atelier and being in nature.  The palette is neutral to instill a sense of calm and although the central part of the canvas appears as unfilled, there are gradations of colour, from warm undertones of pink right through to pale greens.  
Framed in a beautiful hand-made wooden frame.
