Original artwork description:

I made this work on a canvas, I treated it with the electric blue base color, I traced the draft of the picture with chalk and only later did I start painting with oil colors.
I use oil color by superimposing many thin layers of suitably diluted color to create the effects I want.
I represented an old red enamelled tin kettle, I painted it suspended from an iron wire.
When I painted this work I thought that, as in the last works, in the end I would add the shadow, but in this work it was not necessary because the red kettle is moving and it is a slow but infinite movement.
I titled the work LA ROSSA, because among the many other teapots, the red one is my favorite, like an actress, a prima donna ... it never stands still and always shows off!
I removed the protagonist from her context to insert her in a new dimension, that of the stage while she is playing her part!


The SOSPESI series is the new series that I started painting in 2022, with this new series I want to reflect on the suspended moments that life puts before us, I want through art to overcome the barrier of time, to give value to every moment.

The work does not provide the frame to create even more the sense of freedom.

The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
