This scene is an allegory of ideas and events that blend together against a background of vivid colours that merge into the shape of large flowers that serve as a backdrop. Imaginary characters that speak of the night and the dawn, of what could have happened before and what could happen after. The choice of a very absorbent fabric, as can be seen on the back of the painting, creates a sensation that is different from the traditional canvas. The symbol of those mushrooms, which we all know are poisonous, or perhaps hallucinogenic, gives another clue as to what could have happened. An excess of life, celebration and colour.
