With this technique, she can manipulate, superimpose and juxtapose various photographic elements of different nature and eras. Unlike a photographic snapshot that captures and freezes a precise moment in time, photomontage allows Sophie Roy to express a vision of life that is dynamic and made of changes, movements and transformations.
