Original artwork description:
This is a Mexican Street Food restaurant/cafe in the North Laine area of Brighton UK. I liked the bold shape of the building and the colourful shop front; to accentuate these elements I chose to paint it lit by an afternoon sun which also allowed me to use a nice shadow area in the foreground. I haven't eaten there yet though....
Materials used:
oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
