La Chanteuse (The Singer) is one of only a few remaining figurative works available from Joyce's portrait painting years of 2000 - 2016. This work was inspired by the mystique of the vintage era which is portrayed here with the dark blue background, light pink satin dress, white gloves with a hint of cigarette, and of course the facial expression of the model. She is a singer and she feels every note and lyric with great passion.

This painting is created in oil on double primed canvas. The work is professionally framed in a cool gold (front) and taupe/grey (sides) frame selected specifically for the piece (by the framer) to enhance the ambiance of the work. It is ready to hang with framed dimensions of 29.5" x 25" x 1.5"

The work has been sealed with Gamblin Gamar varnish for UV protection. The painting, signed on the front and back, will be sent with a certificate of authenticity
