Hi, I am Yana, a watercolor artist from Ukraine.

I painted this artwork after the war has started in Ukraine. It depicts night in Kyiv, however the colors might suggest that this night was not peaceful.
Since the war, my art has been a way to release emotions. I strive for something positive and light, but sometimes darkness takes over.

After living for 1 year in different countries, I decided to return home, to Kyiv.
This is an original watercolor piece.
