Original artwork description:

My plein air today turned out to be unusual. Surprises happen sometimes. I chose a suitable spot to paint the sky. On this day, there were fluffy summer clouds. I bought a coffee drink, sat on a bench, and started working. Suddenly, a strong gusty wind picked up. The coffee spilled, the easel fell right onto me, and the solvent spilled onto the asphalt. Then everything calmed down, and I quickly restored everything and continued, holding the easel with one hand. But the gusts of wind persisted. For about two hours, I tried to battle the elements while simultaneously painting the sky. As my concentration on the painting decreased, I decided to relax and improvise. That's when the pink and yellow hues appeared. However, the easel still flew away occasionally, and after two and a half hours, I gave in. On my way home, I took some photos of the evening Kyiv, and when I arrived in my studio, I noticed that one of the views of Kyiv would fit perfectly into this painting. So, I continued this painting in the studio. What do you think? Did it turn out well?

This is an oil painting on cardboard measuring 24x30cm, or 10"x12"

The painting is sold unframed.
