This pencil drawing of a bright sunny day on the very popular Kuta Beach was done “en plein air”. My wife and I had hired two lounge chairs under an umbrella on the beach for the afternoon from the man in the foreground of the picture named Suwendi. He was very interested in my drawing so I asked him to pose for me and I would draw him into it. It was a hot, sunny day and many people were enjoying the cooler late afternoon breeze at the beach, which gave me many models to work from as I drew this long stretch of coastline.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
