"kurz zuvor" captures the moment – that split second just before change happens. Starting with a vague feeling a delicate equilibrium turns into disharmony, leading into a new beginning.
The painting is a large scale, minimalistic monument with a rather silent appeal that at the same time is very powerful and enigmatic.
I used acrylic and vinyl colors in order to create a suptile play with the light. Moreover several layers of super glossy varnish create the special depth of the blue triangle that evolves with the light.
