Original artwork description:

This art piece was made firstly on iron wire, then coated with glue and newspaper. The last stage was to cover with aluminium sheets the complete surface. The aluminum plates are riveted to the newspaper.

The hip is one of the most intricate of the human bones. This is an oversized version of it, made to idealise the sturdiness of the human race and its quenchless pursuit for survival.
