The Korean culture is one of the oldest continuous cultures in the whole wide world and comprises all of its history, customs, traditions, and beliefs. It has been shaped by each of its different dynasties, wars, changes in religious beliefs, the modernization of the world as a whole, and many other customs and traditions that have passed on between generations, experiencing slight changes with each generational pass.
The hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) has a history as colourful. It was worn daily up until about a century ago; however, it remains an important part of Korean culture, with people wearing it on special occasions and holidays.
That is why the theme of Marina's works is a korean woman in all her beauty. The main idea behind this collection is to show asian woman’s inner beauty and character through Korean culture.
