Artwork description:

'Komorebi' is a lovely Japanese word to describe the interplay between light and leaves when sunlight shines through trees.

This is an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino, of which more and more is carved away between each layer of colour to achieve the final print. This is a limited variable edition print of 18 on either Fabriano UNICO 250gsm ivory paper or Rosapina 220gsm white paper (please indicate which you'd prefer if ordering), using Caligo safe wash ink. The image size 30cm x 42cm, paper size is approx 40cm x 52cm which gives a generous margin to allow for framing.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.

If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!

Materials used:

FAbriano UNICO printing paper, Rosapina paper, 145gsm. Caligo safe wash ink.
