Original artwork description:

This is the view from one of my windows. I live on an island in Amsterdam. This crane is part of the Loods 6 building that was built in the early 1900s from the Royal Dutch Steamboat Company.
It has been standing there for such a long time. Since recently it has been removed and transferred to another part of Holland where it is being renovated in such way that keeps its original character but it becomes a unique one room hotel.

I have been looking at this crane since 2008 that I live in this building and suddenly this year it disappeared. Then I remember this painting I made in 2015 with this view.

Acrylics and acrylic ink on a 40x50cm canvas board. A view that has a story behind it that starts somewhere in the beginning of 1900.

Part of the series views of Amsterdam.

The painting is coated with a thin layer of mat UV protection. It is shipped insured and packed with great care and attention in strong and secure cardboard packaging. It comes with certificate of authenticity.

It is sold unframed, the frame on the photo is for presentation purposes only.

Materials used:

Acrylics and acrylic ink
