Knitting sheep. Original oil painting on paper.
This is the first character of a series of subject inspired by some of my favorite characters of the books I love.
This one is inspired by Miss Marple by Agatha Christie:
“Miss Marple wore a black brocade dress, very much pinched in around the waist. Mechlin lace was arranged in a cascade down the front of the bodice. She had on lace mittens, and a black lace cap surmounted the piled-up masses of her snowy hair. She was knitting—something white and soft and fleecy.” The Tuesday Club Murders written by A. Christie
I love Miss Marple's stories and I decided to represent her in form of a sheep because sheep is one of my favorite subject to paint.
