Original artwork description:

A few years ago we completed a rail tour of Norway and one part of the dramatic scenery was the Kjosfossen Waterfall at Hordaland on the Flam-Myrdal railway. The waterfall was around 50 metres high and the noise was tremendous but did not completely drown out the beautiful sound of the opera singer who performs there for tourists many days of the year. I started a quick sketch and completed to picture later, after the quick stop.

Materials used:

Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours (Cobalt Blue, Light Red, Raw Siena, Cerulean) on Saunders Waterford 140lb paper.
