Vintage interior photograph from Richard Heeps series Ordinary Places, photographing Britain on the brink of change, capturing a portrait of life with the absence of people. It was Richard's first colour collection and was shot between 1986-1991, and it instantly won acclaim with an exhibition at The Photographer's Gallery. The collection has toured around the country exhibiting in many museums and galleries
