When I paint a still life, I love exploring new textures. Depicting the quality of different surfaces with paint is a challenge that I can't ever get enough of. I set up my pairs again this time but against a metallic surface. The strong reflections and highlights in metal make it a great subject to paint.

This painting can be combined with any of my other small paintings to make a stunning display in your kitchen or dining area.
