Radishes are a fun subject to paint, I love them to explore the many different reds that I could create. There are a lot of reds in here, varying in temperature and saturation among other things. And they play off beautifully against the black jar creating some interesting reflections. In addition, I placed the setup on a glass surface, bringing in some more reflections and shadows.

This little painting is part of a set of two, they can be combined to make a stunning display in your kitchen or dining area. It is sure to add a pop of color to your dining space.
