While the poppies were out in my garden I had to look at them as much as possible and take lots of photos. I don't usually work from photos but enjoyed this process for a change.
Painted on a 23.5" x 27.5" canvas with acrylic paint
edges painted so framing optional not necessary
strung on the back ready to hang
signed on the front
also dated, titled and signed on the back
varnished for protection
