Original artwork description:

In this romantic acrylic painting, a woman kissing a man; they tenderly touch each others' faces and are surrounded by vividly coloured glowing flower shapes.

The overall colour is rich Burnt Sienna with areas of turquoise, blue and magenta at the edges of the image. Flashes of pink, yellow and just a touch of green hum in the flowers, but there's also subtle colour in unexpected areas: eg in the lovers' dark hair - her's glows with long flowing blue and pink lines, his with little dashes of coloured light, reflected from the flying flower shapes. (see photographs taken at an angle).

Their skin is highlighted by fine pencil marks too. Please also note the very subtle leaf-shape tattoo on her side near the bottom of the image.

It is painted on Somerset 300gsm (gessoed) paper using Winsor & Newton professional acrylics and Caran d'Ache pencil highlights.

Image size is 22 x 30" (56 x 76cm)

1) I've superimposed the image onto an existing same size framed in a pale grey wood at the framer's studio
2) I've superimposed the image onto an existing framed image of the same size hanging in my home. NB though that in the (gold) frame in this instance, the image has a more generous mount/mat surround than in the pale grey framed image.
